Today I’ve called on Northamptonshire County Council to postpone its start date for changes to its school transport scheme for children with special needs and disabilities.

In a letter to the Chief Executive of Northamptonshire County Council, I’ve said there should be a public consultation on the plans that are a major change to services for young people.

I’ve also said there’s not enough time for a traffic training to be provided for the young people, and the changes come just after the clocks go back, so it will be much darker in the evenings.
