The problem of nitrous oxide abuse landed right at my back door when I found boxes of the little silver cannisters strewn across the carpark outside my campaign centre.

And a local resident complained about the cannisters also being found outside the entrance to her sheltered housing complex.

So far Northamptonshire Police have declined to at on the problem, despite the complaints that are coming in from right across the constituency. I’m getting back onto them again because the anti-social behaviour that is linked to nitrous oxide abuse is problematic, as well as the supply of it being illegal. It’s the soft end of substance abuse.
